This made me laugh at the end of a particularly hard day (when the two days prior were bliss and I told a friend we were “thriving”.) Thank you. I’m familiar with the Tripp quote but needed it teased out some more. This really blessed and encouraged me. Keep writing!
One of the hurdles to today was that we were all melting in conflict, bickering and tirades so I announced we were going out. We’ve been cooped up a lot bc it’s been cold. I drove us to the CFA with a playground as a treat. The children complained. Then we got there and discovered they had refurbished and REMOVED THE PLAYGROUND! One of my days “lows” for sure.
I loved this article, Emily. Can you advise me on how to handle the sin I see in my young adult children (mid twenties)? I mostly just pray because I don't think adults are as open to correction from mom.
I bet it’s very different with adult kids. I imagine prayer is definitely the main thing, and hoping he lord opens “opportunities” to speak or ask questions
